So Angela and I made it back from Egypt before the whole place went crazy. It was a bit strange we really had no sense of what was going to happen while we were there. We flew back to Las Vegas and spent New Years with Nate and Casslyn, then took a week to go over to Joshua Tree and do some climbing. We helped my parents get settled in at Lake Mead and then started the drive back north. We visited a few more friends along the way and made it back to Alaska without any major problems. We spent three weeks back at Wrangell St Elias where I was doing planning for the backcountry program for the upcoming season. Angela is down in Washington right now helping out a friend who is expecting a baby any day now. Here's a few more photos from our road trip.
